The first meeting of the partner organisations took place on the 24th November 2016 in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Dublin. Members of 7 of the 9 organisations were present, along with SNAP’s representative attending by video call. The meeting opened with a discussion of the logistical aspects of the project, focussing especially on budgetary issues and the delegation of responsibilities among the partners.
After this the following four priorities for the first year of the project were established and agreed upon by all parties:
-Develop and launch EGIFT website & Open Education Resource
– Develop OER Curriculum: 5 Strands
– Launch Curriculum
– Begin Evaluation process
The meeting laid out a timeline for the first year of the project consisting of the following steps:
13th January – First topic done and submitted to coordinating partner
20th March – First Draft Strand done and submitted to coordinating partner
30th March – Transnational meeting, Budapest
14th April – Redrafted strand, Curriculum for Teacher Training, Ongoing quality review and evaluation
24th – 28th July 2017 – Teacher Training in Dublin
