Multiplier Events

Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany

1st Multiplier Event took place 12th December 2018 with 18 participants. Content on strand 2 was the main focus with special look on mentoring.

2nd Multiplier Event took place 2nd June 2019 with 18 participants.

ICBF at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, Germany

1st Multiplier Event took place 21st November 2018 with 18 participants. All attendees were new to the project and all strands were covered.

2nd Multiplier Event took place 10th April 2019 with 18 participants. Once again, all strands were covered in general as participants were new to the project.

CTY Greece at Anatolia College, Greece

1st Multiplier Event took place over 4 days of workshops with 140 in attendance. There was interest from a very large number of teachers.

2nd Multiplier Event took place on 18th January 2019 with 80 participants. These participants had a variety of backgrounds and experience with gifted education.

Association of Hungarian Talent Support Organisations, Hungary

1st Multiplier Event took place 17th November 2018 with 32 participants. An overview of each strand was given with a focus on strand 4 & 5. Prof. Niamh Stack from SNAP, University of Glasgow presented.

2nd Multiplier Event took place 9th March 2019 with 15 participants in attendance and an introduction to each strand was presented.

Dublin City University – CTYI, Ireland

1st Multiplier Event took place 8th December 2018 with 65 participants. There was a focus on strand 1 – 3 and a particular interest to parents of gifted students.

2nd Multiplier Event took place 23rd March 2019 with 43 attendees. Dr. Georgia Tsoulfa, Director of CTY Greece, was an invited guest and Prof Tracy Cross and Dr Jennifer Cross presented on social and emotional difficulties in gifted education.

Italian Association for Gifted and Talented Students, Italy

1st Multiplier Event took place 17th November 2018 with 15 participants. The main content was an overview of each strand given in a daylong session.

2nd Multiplier Event took place in March 2019 and 65 participants took part. As these attendees were new to the project, each strand was used as focus of material to introduce the overall project.

University of Glasgow, Scotland

1st Multiplier Event took place 8th December 2018 with an audience of 19 primary and secondary school teachers with mixed knowledge of gifted education. An overview of all strands was presented.

2nd Multiplier Event took place in March 2019 with 15 participants. All strands of the project were covered but there was particular interest in Strand 4 & 5.

Univerza V Ljubljani, Slovenia

1st Multiplier Event took place 21st September 2018 with 46 participants. All strands were covered with a special presentation on C2 Ljubljana Summer School.

2nd Multiplier Event took place on 9th April 2019 with 24 participants.
